A (Super) Beginners Guide To Understanding Chakras

Now what’s the difference between balanced, blocked and overactive chakras?

Remember that chakras can either be balanced, overactive or blocked. When your chakras are balanced they are in a state of harmony and are distributing high vibrational energy. When a chakra is overactive, it means that the chakra is distributing too much energy thus causing an imbalance to that particular chakra. And when a chakra is blocked, it means that the chakra is experiencing some sort of blockage or is disturbing low vibrational energy thus (again) causing an imbalance.

Different emotional, physical and spiritual things can cause a chakra to become blocked or overactive. Overall, things like stress, illness, emotional distress, unhealthy eating habits or conflict are contributing factors to imbalances within the chakra system.

Keep in mind, that all of the chakras are interconnected. The goal is for our chakras to stay open, aligned, and with the energy moving easefully between each of them. A state of harmony.

When one chakra experiences a blockage or imbalance, it affects all the others. This disruption of energy can cause your mind, body, and spirit to suffer.

How do I know if my chakras are blocked, balanced or overactive?

I got you! Keep reading to get an overview of some symptoms/characteristics of blocked, balanced and overactive chakras.

    1. Hey Joanna, spiritual addiction means that you are not living in your present physical body. In order to sustain a connection to the Divine, it is also important that we maintain a connect to ourselves as well (grounding). If we are too focused on the spiritual aspects of our being, then we may begin to neglect the physical aspects of ourselves. Hopefully that helps. ♡
